Understand the methodology behind Rowi
Rowi is built on the science of Six Seconds, the world leader in emotional intelligence. Here we explain the frameworks we use and link to everything you need to get started.
The Six Seconds frameworks
Three complementary, validated models that structure how Rowi measures and develops emotional intelligence.
Vital Signs
The annual emotional climate diagnostic. It measures 5 drivers (Trust, Motivation, Change, Teamwork and Execution) through 15 pulse points, the operational levers of daily life.
- 5 climate drivers
- 15 operational pulse points
- OVS · TVS · LVS · FVS variants
KCG · 8 SEI competencies
Know · Choose · Give: the Six Seconds personal operating system. Three circular movements that articulate the 8 emotional intelligence competencies measured by the SEI.
- Know Yourself — literacy + patterns
- Choose Yourself — thinking, navigation, motivation, optimism
- Give Yourself — empathy + noble goals
18 Brain Talents
The 18 "brain apps" spread across 3 dimensions — Focus, Decision and Motivation — that describe how we process information, navigate uncertainty and sustain energy.
- Focus — how you process information
- Decision — how you navigate uncertainty
- Motivation — how you sustain energy
The BE2GROW hypothesis
Each pulse point is hypothetically activated by a set of SEI competencies and supported by specific Brain Talents. This matrix is the v0 version of Rowi's inference model: a hypothesis, not calibrated truth. Each debrief and each real data point refines it toward future versions.
